Jeff Howard is the Branch Manager / Loan Officer and Co-Founder of Veteran’s Choice Home loans a DBA of Mann Mortgage LLC. Jeff created Veteran’s Choice Home Loans out of the absolute need in the real estate industry for personal VA Home Loan Education for our Active Military and Veteran communities. He believes that every VA Eligible Borrower deserves “one on one” personal attention through individual VA Home Loan Seminars, and that education on wealth building through Real Estate is the key to Active Military and Veteran long-term financial growth and security.
Jeff joined Mann Mortgage in October of 2011 and helped to create Veteran’s Choice Home Loans in 2016. With over 12 years in the mortgage industry, this highly dedicated lending professional is focused primarily on residential mortgage loans including VA loans. He has held previous positions at First Hawaiian Bank and Countrywide/Bank of America. Jeff’s loan volume was an instrumental part of growing the Hawaii branch to a Top 20 producing branch in the nationwide Bank of America system (over 300 branches) with $300 million in annual sales. While there, he was named to the 2008-2011 Chairman’s Club for Bank of America’s top 1 percent in the nation, and was Bank of America’s top VA and USDA Purchase loan leader in 2008-2011.
Having personally originated and closed over 600 million in home loans, Jeff has an unparalleled depth of knowledge in his field. From 2013 to 2015 Jeff was honored as the #1 Overall Producer nationwide in Mann Mortgage in total loan volume. In 2015 Scotsman Guide also ranked Jeff as the #24 ranked loan officer total loan volume and the highest ranking loan officer in Hawaii in the VA Home Loan Volume category. Jeff Howard attended the University of Hawaii, where he earned a B.A in Political Science.
Al Correa was born and raised in Hawaii. He attended University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems. After graduating, AL worked as a staff accountant for a few years with a top national accounting firm and that is when he began his career in the mortgage industry.
He has over 15 years of extensive experience managing all aspects of the mortgage loan including originating, processing, underwriting, and closing with the last 4 years specializing in VA and USDA loans. He has helped more than 100 service members and their families become homeowners using their VA benefits and is looking forward to helping even more families purchase a little piece of Hawaii.
He attributes his success in the mortgage industry to putting himself in his client’s shoes, which requires answering phone calls and emails promptly and explaining any hiccups or setbacks along the way. In his free time, Al loves to spend time with his wife, Jo-Lyn, and their three crazy kids, Cody, 6; Coen, 4; and Lorelai, 1.
Richie has firm roots in Hawaii being raised at a young age on the Garden Island of Kauai by his grandmother and grandfather, a World War II Veteran who served at Pearl Harbor. He later moved to the east shore of Oahu during his teen years with his mother and step-father, a Vietnam War Veteran. Having grown up with strong male role models who served our country, Richie is dedicated to helping the men and women of the armed forces become homeowners.
A graduate of the Kamehameha Schools, Richie has an extensive background in operations and marketing in various fields including over 25 years of sales experience, leadership, and training which gives him a good perspective of how to assist individuals throughout the home loan process. As an experienced entrepreneur and business owner, Richie firmly believes in exemplifying the ‘aloha spirit’, creating ‘raving fans’, building trust, and long lasting relationships. He understands the importance of wealth building through homeownership and is ready to help Veterans achieve their financial goals and dreams.
Richie currently resides in Honolulu with his wife and three children. When his schedule isn’t consumed by youth athletics, music, or serving as an active member of his family church and school, Richie enjoys reading, family vacations, barbeques with friends, an occasional date night with his wife, and family outings at the beach.
Tess Roldan is a local girl who was born and raised in Hawaii. She has been in the mortgage industry for 15 years, beginning her career as a loan processor and proceeding into sales as a loan officer soon after. She quickly established herself as one of Oahu’s leading mortgage professionals by specializing in VA, USDA, FHA, and Conventional home loans.
Tess has a special tie to the military having watched her grandfather, father, uncles, brother-in-law, and six cousins serve in the military. She has helped hundreds of veterans, active military, and local families reach their dream of homeownership. She is committed to educating families on the benefits of homeownership. She also currently holds the position of secretary for the Honolulu Board of Realtors® Leeward Regional Group—a position she has held for the past eleven years. Being on the Leeward Regional Executive Board has continually kept Tess up-to-date with the real estate industry.
She has two grown children and two grandchildren who she adores. She has a passion for yoga, is a dog lover, enjoys going to the beach to watch sunsets, and living life to the fullest.

Daria Roud is originally from Ukraine. She moved to Oahu when she was very young and fell in love with the island because of its down to earth lifestyle. Having moved to the mainland for a few years, Daria always knew she would return one day to the place that was always her home.
Growing up with a mother in real estate and working as a real estate agent herself, she has vast knowledge in the real estate industry. Daria has many friends that are in the military or that are military spouses and has always dedicated herself to helping them because she admires the sacrifices they make for our country.
Daria is bilingual, she is fluent in English and Russian and can interpret verbal and written translations. In her free time she enjoys volunteering at charity events as her favorite princesses and superheroes. She loves exploring the island and all that it has to offer and can be found on the weekends hiking or organizing hike adventures.
Tina Yang is originally from California. She moved to Hawaii with her family when she was very young and considers Hawaii her home. She has moves back to the mainland a couples of times, but is always drawn back to the islands because of its beauty and lifestyle.
Tina has over 13 years of loan processing experience with an extensive background handling VA, Conventional, USDA, and FHA mortgages. She is passionate about her clients and loves meeting new people. She is committed to providing excellent service and ensures every borrower is comfortable with their home financing or refinancing and that they fully understand the mortgage transaction.
Tina is bilingual, she is fluent in English and Korean and can interpret verbal and written translations. She loves shopping, hot sauce, trying new foods, and spending time with her family and friends.
Cole Stephens is a southern gentleman who grew up on a small farm in Georgia where he was active in the outdoors. He attended the University of North Georgia, a senior military college, where he received a dual degree in Business Marketing and Management.
After college, Cole took a career as an IT hardware broker buying and selling equipment globally. Throughout his five years of success he watched several of his friends PCS to Hawaii; this in turn led him to vacation in Hawaii where he instantly fell in love with the beauty of the island and moved shortly thereafter. Although Cole did not serve in the armed forces, he is deeply tied to the military through his Alma mater and his family.
As a loan officer Cole specializes in building relationships with veterans and the armed forces community. His goal is to help military members better understand their VA benefits and the advantages of using their entitlements towards building future wealth in Hawaii’s marketplace for retirement. In Cole’s free time he enjoys hiking, reading, social atmospheres, traveling, family, reading, cooking, surfing, stand up paddle, and all other types of water sports.
Ronnie grew up in Hawaii and attended Campbell High School in Ewa Beach. Soon after graduation, he joined the US Navy where he has proudly served for 21 years, and continues to serve, as a Navy Special Warfare Scout. Ronnie feels that his time serving in the Navy has given him a deeper appreciation for the island of Oahu. As he often says, “there is nowhere like home, the people, lifestyle, and the pure ‘Aloha’ that we share. It is unmeasurable!”
After purchasing a home and financing through Veteran’s Choice Home Loans, Ronnie knew he could take pride in working for a company that emphasizes the same core values that were instilled in him through the US Navy; Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Ronnie now enjoys being a part of the Veteran’s Choice team and the opportunities it has provided him. He greatly appreciates being able to help his fellow military brothers and sisters invest in their future through home ownership and has made it a personal goal to educate all Veterans and service members on their VA Home Loan benefit.
In Ronnie’s free time he enjoys boating, fishing, diving, and spending time with his family. He also attends Wayland Baptist University where he is working on his Bachelors in Human Services.
